Girls soccer has thrived at Thacher since the School went co-ed in 1978. While there have been eight league championships since then, the girls who have participated in the program have measured their success on the field in more than games won. Thacher teams embrace hard work, fundamentals of the sport, and healthy competition as they play on the storied Upper Field under view of Ojai’s Twin Peaks.
The Thacher Girls Varsity Soccer team had its most successful season in school history. The team finished with a record of 14 wins 2 losses and 1 tie. On the year, the team scored 112 and had 88 assists, while only conceding 16 goals. We finished the year ranked 7th in the state in goals scored. The Toads won the Frontier League and were CIF finalists. Several players received individual honors following the 2021-2022 season.
