A Note about In Person Interviews:

An interview—either in person or virtual—is a required part of the application process. The interview is a great opportunity for you to learn more about Thacher, ask questions, and connect with an Admission Officer. Interviews are approximately 30 minutes. The Admission Officer speaks one-on-one with the student for the first 15–20 minutes and then meets with the parent(s) or guardian(s) for the final 10–15 minutes.

For Fall 2026 Applicants:
The January 15, 2026, application deadline has passed, and we are no longer scheduling in person or virtual  interviews for this admission cycle.

For Fall 2027 Applicants:
From early September 2026 to late January 2027, we offer campus visits with the option to interview in person at the time of the visit.

If you would like to receive an update regarding when interview registration is live, please be sure to fill out an inquiry form.
