2025 Grandparents and Special Friends Day

Grandparents and Special Friends Day is a wonderful way for family members to get an inside look into the academics, athletics, performing arts, and student life of their Thacher Student. Open to Grandparents and those special family members who would like to join. Parents are welcome to join us to be of assistance to our Grandparents and Special Friends.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day will be held February 14-15, 2025. Guests attend a full day of classes with their student(s) on Friday, enjoy a panel with some 12th graders, and the horse department will provide a Gymkhana demonstration in preparation for the big event in May. Grandparents and Special Friends Days will coincide with the Winter Musical, Urinetown, in the Milligan Center for Performing Arts.

Registration is available at the bottom of this page. Click here for full schedule and program.

The weekend events and musical performance are free to attend.

If you would like to volunteer to put together packets, check-in guests at the registration table, or drive guests around campus on golf carts, please click here to sign up. We would love your help!
