What will you dare to ask of your high school experience?
At Thacher, high school is a thrilling adventure. It is a place where we hold one another to high standards in the classroom and as community members. It is a place surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Ojai Valley. It is a place where positive risk taking in and out of the classroom helps all students develop character and well-being. It is a place where we ask hard questions and do not shy away from the truth. We invite you to make a leap into an education like no other. This is Thacher.
How do we continue to build and strengthen our school culture? It starts with caring and committed teachers, coaches, and advisors who model what it means to live up to the tenets of honor, fairness, kindness, and truth. Students, in turn, become mentors and support systems, setting high standards and cheering each other on.
At Thacher, the school day doesn't end with the last class. From competitive sports to outdoor activities, performing arts, and more, we encourage students to both develop the skills they arrive with and expand their horizons through new ventures.
