Norman Rosenblatt (C de P '49) brings his "Jazz Voices of Poetry" to Thacher as an Anacapa Artist-in-Residence. Mr. Rosenblatt is an award-winning composer who writes jazz music with lyrics from his favorite poets. Accompanied by his band of five musicians, he will visit English Literature and American Studies classes, perform a concert of original pieces, and teach master classes in jazz. A hearty Thacher welcome to a favorite son who combines two complementary artistic genres.
