For Home Schooled Applicants

The Thacher Admission Office welcomes home schooled applicants and encourages them to complete the standard application process.  However, in addition, we ask that each home schooled applicant submit the following:

• One or two additional letters of recommendation from adults or teachers other than the child's parents
• A statement of educational philosophy pertaining to your child's specific Home Schooling curriculum - please include any state law guidelines.
• A 1-2 page course description or syllabi, similar to a transcript, for the last two years of home schooling
